Ryan Pederson

Managing Director of Operations

Ryan Pederson is the Managing Director of Operations at Sunshine Enterprises and has been with the team since 2013. While at Sunshine, Ryan has served as an instructor, coach, program manager and Managing Director of Programs prior to his current role. 

Prior to Sunshine, Ryan helped lead the Chicago Urban Program through InterVarsity Christian Fellowship; worked at the Boston Consulting Group as an associate; and worked at Northwestern University's Center for Global Engagement. Ryan earned a degree in Economics and International Studies at Northwestern University (2008).  At Northwestern, he participated in and led multiple community development practicums in Uganda. With InterVarsity, he hosted hundreds of college students for service learning trips on the West Side of Chicago and taught on faith, race, and justice. Together those experiences forged a deep passion for community development and racial justice, and entrepreneurship as a means for facilitating both. He loves working alongside entrepreneurs as they work towards their dreams.

In his spare time Ryan enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and running as well as spending time with his wife and two sons.
