Angela Phillips

Angela is a native Chicagoan and small business owner, of BizDevArts LLC a technology management and solutions company. A professional educator and trainer, with a focus in Instructional Design, and curriculum development, Angela has graduated from the University of IL at Chicago, Northeastern Illinois University (Inner City Studies), and American Intercontinental University (Instructional Design) with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees respectfully. Angela spent 10 years in the Army as a Combat Signaler and Instrumentalist (flute). Angela also volunteers with several non-for-profit organizations such as Real Men Charities Inc., supporting the Real Men Cook annual event, the African Scientific Resource Institute supporting archeological research in African American history, and One Fair Wage supporting fair wages for restaurants and tips workers. Angela enjoys playing the flute and listening to music, practicing tai chi, reading, and writing poetry, and conducting research.
