During our 12-week training, we conduct business simulations to help cohort members gain practical knowledge in the realities of operating a business. The cohort is split into several teams (i.e. “businesses”) that compete with one another in a simulated marketplace environment. Each team is tasked with developing an initial concept, bringing that concept to market, all while tracking expenses and procuring the resources necessary to operate sustainably over a “month” of business activity.
You don’t have to be a banking professional to play the role of a banker. The simulations are meant to maintain the balance between competitive fun and practical learning. It’s easy to jump right in without ever having previously participated.
