Richard J Hernandez
Mr. Hernandez, CPCM has over 20 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager and Supplier Diversity Manager both with major corporations and with the Federal government. He is the founder of E-mbe.net, a website dedicated to helping small, minority-and women-owned business close the “digital divide” by providing free resources on how to develop an effective presence on the internet. The Community Business Workshop Series is a joint collaboration of Chicago Innovation Exchange, the Office of Business Diversity, the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship, the South East Chicago Commission, the Office of Civic Engagmenet, and Facilities Services. The goal of the series is to provide South Side businesses and entrepreneurs with substantive and actionable programming to grow and sustain their businesses."
